Join the TGC GH&D committee for a full day of learning, lunching and garden touring! We’ll team up with the Seattle Garden Club’s GH&D team in Seattle at the Sunset Club for a deep dive into the Smithsonian’s requirement for garden documentation, including lunch (with tax and tip, expect to pay $40-$50). After lunch we’ll tour a Seattle garden for an on-the-ground tutorial. You’ll come away with an understanding of the scope of duties, both for the garden owner and for the GH&D team. This workshop will provide the foundation for TGC’s future documentation efforts, so if you are even a little bit interested in helping document our (your?) garden treasures, or curious about how you might participate, sign up for this important event.
