Summer Horticulture Book Club with Riz Reyes

Let’s be kids in the garden again! Horticulturist Riz Reyes will guide us through his children’s non-fiction book GROW: A Family Guide to Plants & How to Grow Them. While aimed for 5-12 year old kids, avid gardeners are rediscovering the wonders of the plant world through this book that showcases 15 different plants and fungi as “Superheroes of nature.” Beautifully illustrated by Sara Boccacini Meadows, Riz will bring the book to life with demonstrations, plant ID exercises, and other fun activities that you can share with the budding young gardeners in your life.

Light refreshments will be served. Please feel free to bring a snack to share.
