Join us for an informative two-hour tour of the Morse Wildlife Preserve (Plan B: May 7, if weather is an issue). The tour focuses specifically on the prairie and wetland boardwalk (mobility-friendly access). Our guide, Mary Sue Gee, will cover the preserve’s history, species, and the cultural significance of Camas to the Puyallup and other Pacific Northwest Tribes. Read more here: Native Plants and Foods Institute.
Please carpool if possible, and note that picnic benches and porta-potties are available. Post-tour, we recommend lunch at “208″ on Garfield Street South or bring your own packed lunch. You can also visit the Clover Creek Reserve afterward.
