From Meeting Room to Mossy Trail with Chris Rurik

Remember Chris Rurik, the naturalist-spy who captivated us in February with tales of “the bald” and our “halfway busted” landscape? We’re springing him from the lecture hall for a guided outdoor adventure. Members are invited to explore the “Peninsula’s wild, lost, and rewilding corners” through the lens of a guide with four generations of local knowledge.

We’ll meet at Rocky Creek Conservation Area. The trail can be slippery and uneven; please wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. Curiosity is required! Parking on the road shoulder is available; carpooling is recommended.
