Mastering you Photography Skills, a deep dive with Adam Jacobs: Session #1

Join photographer Adam Jacobs for a captivating four-part Zoom photography series designed exclusively for Garden Club of America members and as a followup to our October workshop. Recognized with the GCA’s Club Photography Commendation, Adam brings his expertise, creativity, and approachable teaching style to help you elevate your photography skills and artistic vision. Held from 9–11 a.m. on January 12, January 26, February 9, and February 23, 2026, each two-hour session will focus on a key element of great photography — from composition and lighting to color theory and editing. Between classes, participants will receive creative homework assignments to reinforce learning, with personalized review and critique by Adam to help you grow with every image.

Don’t worry if you can’t make a session — all lessons will be recorded and distributed so you can revisit the material at your own pace.

Each workshop blends expert instruction, hands-on practice, and thoughtful feedback, empowering you to confidently capture all genres of photography — from nature and still life to portraiture, travel, and beyond.
