POSTPONED: GARDEN HISTORY Walk At Villa Carman in Lakewood

We’ve moved this event to April 14, 2026!

Take a stroll through one of Lakewood’s most beautiful and historic gardens. TGC New Member Gayle Hampton-Smith, current owner of Villa Carman, will be our guide as we walk through the storied estate. We’ll learn about the remarkable original owners and appreciate their passion and vision for the garden. Vicky Czaplewski, Garden History & Design Chair, will provide a brief overview of Villa Carman’s historical documentation, and she’ll describe methods and sources for uncovering garden history. Light refreshments. Parking is available on the street.
